Obverse description A genuine 1940 Lincoln cent is encased at centre, displaying the obverse with the bust of Lincoln, legends LIBERTY and IN GOD WE TRUST, and date 1940. The surrounding aluminium ring bears the names IRENE DUNNE and CARY GRANT flanking the cent at left and right respectively, each accompanied by a four-leaf clover device, with three stars at the top. The lower arc of the ring carries the promotional legend YOU'LL BE LUCKY WHEN YOU SEE PENNY SERENADE.
