Obverse description A butcher in apron and cap leans over a large pig lying on its back, plunging a knife downward in a dynamic, high-relief composition. The curved legend arcs around the upper field, and a small rectangular maker's mark appears in the lower exergue.

Reverse description The flat field bears a bold four-line inscription in relief lettering at center, below which a short linked sausage chain appears in the lower field. The name W. EBERBACH is incised in small letters along the upper rim.
