Reverse description A cross fleurdelisée, its terminals each terminating in a fleur-de-lis, divides the reverse field into four quadrants; a central pellet marks the intersection of the arms. The quadrants are cantoned alternately with a dolphin and a crowned capital F, devices referencing the Dauphiné and the king's initial respectively. The composition is contained within a beaded inner circle, and the Christological acclamation legend runs continuously around the outer margin in Latin majuscules.
