| Reverse description | Central device features a floriated cross pattée with elaborate fleur-de-lis terminals at each arm, set within a raised inner circle against a flat field. At the center of the cross is a small raised annulet or boss. Four decorative elements, each consisting of small fleurs-de-lis or trefoil motifs, fill the angles between the cross arms. The surrounding legend reads XPC: VINCIT: REGNAT: ET: ImPERAT in Gothic script, the traditional Christological motto asserting Christ's sovereignty. The outer border mirrors the obverse with a beaded or crenellated rim, and the coin's irregular flan edge reflects its hammered manufacture. |
