| Obverse description | Central device depicts two right hands issuing from the sides of the field, clasping a pair of flaming hearts bound together with a cord or chain, symbolising indissoluble matrimonial union. A legend in Latin arcs along the upper portion of the field reading INDISSOLUBI[LI], referencing the inviolable bond of marriage. The rim is decorated with a fine milled border. The overall composition is emblematic in style, characteristic of early eighteenth-century Saxon commemorative coinage. |
