| Obverse description | Armored bust of King John II Casimir Vasa facing right, wearing a cuirass with decorative pauldron and a flowing mantle, his long curly hair falling to the shoulder. A palm frond is visible rising behind his head, an attribute associated with royal dignity in Baroque Polish coinage. The circular Latin legend surrounds the effigy, divided on either side of the bust, with a toothed border encircling the entire field. |

| Reverse description | Elaborate crowned quartered coat of arms of the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth at center, incorporating the Polish White Eagle, the Lithuanian Pursuer (Pahonia), and the Vasa dynastic arms (a sheaf), all within an ornate baroque cartouche surmounted by a royal crown. The mint mark 'MW' (for Wschowa mint master) appears at the base of the shield, with the date 1654 placed in the upper field flanking the crown. The circular Latin legend reads around the periphery within a toothed border. |
