Reverse description Central crowned shield bearing the arms of the city of Gdańsk — two white crosses on a red field — set within an ornate cartouche and flanked by two rampant lions serving as heraldic supporters. A decorative floral spray crowns the composition above the shield, while mint initials appear in the lower field on either side of the cartouche base. The circular Latin legend reads MON·AUREA·CIVITATIS·GEDANENS, identifying this as a gold coin of the city of Danzig. The overall design reflects the high-quality engraving tradition of the Gdańsk mint during the baroque era.
