Obverse description A semi-nude male figure, depicted from behind and in dynamic relief, leans forward operating a balancing press with his outstretched right arm. To the right, within an ornamental circular cartouche, appears the company logo in Art Nouveau lettering. The engraver's signature monogram is visible in the lower left field.

Reverse description The recessed field displays a large Art Nouveau inscription across three lines reading 'Réduction et Frappe de Médailles', with three progressively smaller relief vignettes of the obverse scene embedded at diminishing scales to illustrate the reduction process. The address legend is inscribed along the lower exergue.
