| Obverse description | Radiate bust of Vespasian facing right, rendered with characteristic realism of Flavian portraiture, the crown of radiating spikes clearly delineated above his broad, fleshy features. The emperor is depicted bare-headed save for the radiate crown, with the neck truncation visible at the coin's lower field.
