| Reverse description | The personification of Aequitas (Equity/Fairness) stands facing left, fully draped in a long flowing garment. In her raised right hand she holds a pair of scales, symbol of fair measure and just governance, while her left hand bears a cornucopiae, representing abundance. The figure is rendered in the classical Roman allegorical tradition with elegant drapery folds. The reverse legend S P Q R OPTIMO PRINCIPI is disposed around the upper field, with the senatorial mark S C (Senatus Consultum) flanking the figure in the lower field, confirming the coin was issued by authority of the Roman Senate. |
