Obverse description Bare-headed bust of Titus Caesar facing right, depicted with short curly hair and a clean-shaven face, rendered in bold high relief characteristic of Flavian portraiture. The bust is draped at the shoulder, presenting the future emperor in his role as heir apparent under Vespasian. The circumferential legend runs clockwise around the portrait within a beaded border. The facial features are strongly modelled, conveying youthful authority consistent with Titus's portraiture during the reign of Vespasian.
