Obverse description Radiate bust of Titus facing right, rendered in high relief with curly hair surmounted by a radiate crown — the conventional mark of the dupondius denomination. The portrait is vigorous and realistic in the Flavian tradition, with strongly modelled facial features. The encircling Latin legend runs clockwise around the beaded border of the field.

Reverse description The goddess Roma personified seated left upon a cuirass, helmeted and clad in military attire, her right hand extended forward holding a wreath, and her left hand resting on a parazonium (short sword). The senatorial authority marks S and C flank the central figure in the field to left and right respectively. The legend ROMA appears in the exergue, with a beaded border encircling the entire composition.
