Reverse description The personification of Pax rendered as a draped female figure standing to the left, extending a caduceus forward in her right hand and holding a branch in her left. The figure is depicted in flowing robes with fine drapery lines characteristic of Flavian die-cutting. The large senatorial authority marks S and C are prominently placed to either side of the central figure in the field, with the reverse legend distributed around the periphery within a beaded border.
