| Obverse description | Radiate or laureate bust of Titus facing right, depicted with characteristic Flavian portraiture. The emperor's effigy is rendered in the high-relief hammered style typical of early Flavian bronze coinage, with the head bare or laureate as recorded by RIC. The encircling Latin legend runs around the periphery of the flan, identifying the emperor by his full titulature. The flan shows the broad, slightly irregular profile characteristic of struck dupondii of this period. |
