| Obverse description | Radiate bust of Titus facing left, draped and cuirassed, rendered in the naturalistic portraiture style characteristic of Flavian imperial coinage. The radiate crown, composed of pointed rays, identifies the denomination as a dupondius. The imperial legend encircles the effigy along the periphery of the flan, reading from lower left. The coin exhibits the broad, slightly irregular flan typical of hammered Roman aes coinage of this period. |
