| Obverse description | Bare head of Tiberius facing left, rendered in a naturalistic portrait style typical of early Imperial coinage. The effigy displays closely cropped hair with strands swept forward across the brow, a strong jawline, and a composed, imperial expression. The encircling legend runs clockwise around the periphery of the flan, with the tribunician numeral partially visible at the lower right of the field. The portrait occupies the majority of the obverse field and is executed with considerable sculptural depth consistent with Julio-Claudian die-cutting standards. |
