| Obverse description | Bare head of Tiberius facing left, rendered with naturalistic portraiture typical of early imperial provincial coinage. The emperor's features are sharply defined, with close-cropped hair indicated by fine striations across the skull. A circular Latin legend runs along the periphery of the flan, naming the emperor with his full titulature. The field is plain, with the portrait dominating the design in the manner of official Julio-Claudian coinage. |
