| Obverse description | Draped bust of Sabina Augusta facing right, her hair elaborately arranged in a series of waves and coils piled upon the head, with a braid drawn back from the temples in the fashionable style associated with her portraiture. The effigy is rendered with fine classical detail, the drapery visible at the truncation of the bust. The encircling Latin legend reads SABINA AVGVSTA HADRIANI AVG P P, distributed around the periphery of the flan. |
