| Obverse description | Draped bust of Sabina facing right, the hair elaborately braided and coiled, crowned with a double stephane. The effigy is rendered in the refined court portraiture style characteristic of Hadrianic imperial coinage. The legend is disposed around the periphery of the field in well-spaced capital letters. The portrait conveys the idealized dignity befitting an Augusta of the Roman imperial house. |
