| Reverse description | Concordia, the personification of Harmony, is depicted seated left on a throne or chair, rendered in draped robes. She extends her right hand holding a patera and rests her left arm upon a cornucopia. The large senatorial control marks S C (Senatus Consultum) appear prominently in the central field to either side of the figure. The legend TR POT COS II arcs around the upper periphery and CONCORD appears in the lower exergual area, all in raised Latin capitals. The composition reflects the standard Hadrianic reverse type celebrating harmony and the adoption of Aelius as heir. |
