Obverse description Bare-shouldered, laureate bust of Hadrian facing right, rendered with characteristic short beard and curled hair beneath a wreath of laurel leaves, the portrait displaying the refined Hadrianic style with individualized facial features. The bust is truncated at the shoulder and set within a beaded border. The circumferential legend reads HADRIANVS AVG COS III P P, distributed around the obverse field in clear, well-spaced Latin capitals.
