Obverse description Bare-headed and draped bust of Emperor Hadrian facing left, viewed from the rear, with the head turned slightly to show the profile. The portrait displays the emperor's characteristic short beard and curly hair rendered in the Hellenistic style favored during his reign. The circular legend surrounds the effigy along the border of the flan. The coin shows significant wear and patination consistent with extended circulation, with patches of green cuprite visible across the surface.
