| Reverse description | The personification of Clementia, rendered as a draped female figure, stands facing left in a dignified contrapposto pose, extending a patera in her right hand and holding a long sceptre in her left. The figure is modelled in the classicising style typical of Hadrianic bronze coinage, with finely articulated drapery falling in vertical folds. The senatorial mark of authority, S C (Senatus Consultum), appears in the field to either side of the central figure. The surrounding circular legend names the reverse type and imperial titulature within a beaded border. |
