| Obverse description | Laureate and draped bust of Emperor Hadrian facing right, rendered in high relief with characteristic curled hair and short beard typical of his later portraiture. The effigy displays a broad, powerful neck and paludamentum visible at the truncation. The circumferential Latin legend runs clockwise around the bust within a raised border, partially worn but consistent with the standard titulature of Hadrian's final consulate period. |
