| Reverse description | Central type depicts a modius — the Roman dry-measure grain vessel — rendered in three-quarter perspective, filled with multiple ears of grain and a poppy head rising prominently from its centre, the stalks fanning outward symmetrically in high relief. The modius is set upon a low base and placed in the open field, flanked on either side by the senatorial authorisation mark S and C (Senatus Consultum).
