Obverse description Radiate or laureate bust of Nero facing right, with a small globe positioned at the base of the neck truncation, a distinctive iconographic element of his later coinage. The effigy presents the emperor with characteristic Neronian portraiture — full-faced, with pronounced features and elaborately rendered hair. The encircling Latin legend runs along the outer border of the flan. The overall composition reflects the mature hammered style of the Roman Imperial mint under Nero's reign.
