Obverse description Radiate bust of Emperor Galba facing right, draped and cuirassed, set within a dotted border. The imperial effigy is rendered in the stern, realistic portrait style characteristic of Julio-Claudian and early Flavian transitional coinage, conveying authority and gravitas. The surrounding circular legend reads IMP SER GALBA CAES AVG TR P, proclaiming Galba's imperial titles and tribunician power. The surface displays the characteristically irregular flan of hammered Roman bronze coinage, with areas of olive-green patination. The portrait, though worn, retains the distinctive features associated with Galba's numismatic iconography.
