Obverse description Radiate and draped bust of Emperor Domitian facing right, wearing the radiate crown characteristic of dupondius denomination, with an aegis visible at the left shoulder. The portrait is rendered in the high-relief Flavian style, displaying the emperor's characteristic features with short curled hair beneath the radiate crown. The circular Latin legend surrounds the effigy, running from the lower left to the lower right of the field. The flan is broad and slightly irregular, with a deep green patina consistent with bronze coinage of the period.
