Reverse description The personification of Felicitas stands in a frontal pose, her head turned to the left, rendered in flowing robes with fine drapery folds. She extends her right hand to hold a caduceus and cradles a large cornucopiae in her left arm, symbolising prosperity and good fortune for the Roman people. The senatorial authorisation mark S C (Senatus Consultum) is prominently displayed in the field on either side of the figure. The surrounding legend FELICITAS PVBLICA encircles the design, and a beaded border frames the entire reverse.
