| Reverse description | Concordia, goddess of harmony, seated left upon a throne, rendered in a dignified and composed posture. She extends her right hand holding a patera, and cradles a cornucopiae in her left arm, both attributes emblematic of her divine function as personification of concord and abundance. The legend CONCORDIA AVG is distributed across the upper field, flanking the figure, while the senatorial authority mark S C (Senatus Consultum) appears in the lower field to either side of the throne base. The style is consistent with the Flavian workshop at Rome, with the figure exhibiting drapery rendered in fine, naturalistic folds. |
