Reverse description Central tablet or cartouche bearing the five-line Latin inscription MONETA / AUREA / POLONI. / AD LEG. / IMPER., flanked on both sides by elaborate scrolling foliate and acanthus ornaments. An ornamental crowning device with foliate motifs surmounts the cartouche at the top, while the mintmaster's initials F.S. appear below in the exergue, flanked by decorative flourishes. The overall composition is framed by a plain inner border with the characteristic milled outer edge. The design reflects the Baroque engraving tradition employed at the Warsaw Mint under Holzhaeusser.
