Reverse description Elaborate quartered royal arms of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth displayed within an oval cartouche surmounted by a royal crown. The shield bears the White Eagle of Poland, the Pahonia (mounted knight) of Lithuania, the Sheaf of the Vasas, and other dynastic quarterings, all enclosed within decorative baroque scrollwork supporters. The mint date appears in the legend to the left of the shield, and a circular Latin inscription surrounds the composition within a beaded border.
