| Obverse description | Laureate and draped bust of King Jan II Kazimierz Waza facing right, depicted in armor with flowing hair and a laurel wreath, rendered in the Baroque style typical of mid-17th century Polish royal coinage. A circular Latin legend runs along the periphery, interrupted by a dentilated inner border. The effigy is boldly struck with fine detail in the facial features and drapery folds at the truncation. |
