Obverse description Right-facing draped bust of Augustus III, King of Poland and Elector of Saxony, wearing a closed royal crown adorned with arched bands and cross finial, his hair styled in loose curls falling to the shoulder. The effigy is rendered in high relief with fine detail in the royal mantle and lace cravat visible at the truncation. The circular Latin legend surrounds the portrait within a beaded border.
