| Obverse description | A fully armored knight on horseback charges to the right, brandishing a raised sword in his right hand. The horse is depicted in full gallop, rendered in high relief with dynamic baroque styling characteristic of Dutch provincial coinage. Below the horse appears the crowned shield of Utrecht, serving as a heraldic ground element. The peripheral legend in Latin runs around the coin's circumference, interrupted by decorative stops. The design follows the traditional 'Silver Rider' type established for the Dutch provincial ducaton series. |

| Reverse description | The crowned coat of arms of the United Provinces occupies the central field, elaborately rendered with heraldic detail. The shield is supported on either side by rampant lions, each holding a bundle of arrows symbolic of the seven united provinces. The full date 1776 appears in a decorative cartouche in the lower portion of the field. The reverse legend in Latin encircles the design, terminating with a period stop. The overall composition is characteristic of late eighteenth-century Dutch provincial heraldic coinage. |
