Reverse description A crowned and quartered heraldic shield bearing the arms of the Principality of Liège, surmounted by a ducal bonnet. The shield is supported on either side by two ibexes as heraldic supporters. The ensemble is elaborately rendered in the baroque heraldic style typical of late 17th-century ecclesiastical coinage. The circumferential Latin legend identifies the prince-bishop as Duke of Bouillon.
