| Obverse description | Draped bust of Frederick IV facing right, wearing a long flowing wig with voluminous curls rendered in fine baroque detail, and armored shoulders with a lace cravat visible at the truncation. The effigy occupies the central field and is executed in high relief in the style of late 17th-century court portraiture. A Latin legend runs clockwise along the periphery, interrupted by pellet stops, reading FRID · IIII · D · G · REX · DAN · N · V · GOT. The coin border is formed by a continuous inner toothed edge. |

| Reverse description | Central device consisting of an elaborately interlaced royal cypher of Frederick IV — four mirrored and intertwined Fs with a central quatrefoil — surmounted by a jewelled royal crown rendered in fine relief. The date 1700 is placed in the lower field beneath the cypher, with the mint-master's initials IHW (for Johann Heinrich Wahl) below the date. The encircling Latin legend DOMINUS · MIHI · ADIUTOR · reads along the periphery with pellet stops, and the coin border is defined by a continuous toothed inner rim. |
