| Obverse description | Draped bust of Empress Elizaveta Petrovna facing right, her hair elaborately curled and dressed with a small imperial crown, wearing a lace-trimmed décolleté gown with ornate embroidered neckline. A circular Cyrillic legend surrounds the effigy within a rope-beaded border reading Б·М·ЕЛИСАВЕТЪ·І·ИМПЕРАТРИЦА. The portrait is rendered in high relief in a baroque court style characteristic of mid-18th century Russian imperial coinage. |

| Reverse description | Full-length figure of Saint Andrew the Apostle depicted standing facing, his right hand raised in blessing, with the X-shaped saltire cross behind him. The date 17–53 is divided on either side of the central figure, and the inscription ФЕВР: 5 appears in the field, denoting February 5 — the date of Empress Elizabeth's coronation anniversary. The composition is contained within a plain field with Cyrillic lettering. |
