| Reverse description | Square klippe reverse with a rope-twist border mirroring the obverse. The entire field is occupied by a six-line Latin dedicatory inscription in capital letters, without any additional figurative devices. The lettering is deeply struck in a blocky Renaissance epigraphic style. The inscription commemorates the blessing of the laying of the cornerstone of the new collegiate church and records the patronage of the Senate of Lucerne. |
