Obverse description The obverse displays a multi-line text inscription within the field, surrounded by a circular border. A small crown or ornamental device appears at the top of the coin above the text block. The lettering, rendered in Latin, occupies the majority of the obverse face in several horizontal lines, presenting the full royal titulature of Augustus II. The arrangement is typical of the commemorative ducat format favored at the Dresden Mint in the early eighteenth century. The initials 'FF' appear at the bottom of the field, likely denoting the mint or die engraver's mark.
