Obverse description Laureate and draped bust of Augustus II (the Strong), Elector of Saxony and King of Poland, facing right, with long curled wig in the baroque style. A circular legend runs along the coin's periphery in Latin. The portrait is rendered in high relief with fine detail characteristic of the Dresden mint's craftsmanship of the early eighteenth century.
