| Obverse description | Bust of the Hephthalite ruler facing right, depicted in the Sasanian artistic tradition, wearing an elaborate diadem or crown adorned with projecting elements and ribbons. The effigy features a beaded necklace or torque at the neck, with the hair rendered in stylized locks beneath the headdress. Inscriptional Pahlavi legends occupy the field to the left and right of the bust, partially degenerate in execution.
