| Obverse description | Bust of Yazdgerd III in right profile at center, set within a double circular border of pellets. The king wears an elaborate Sasanian crown surmounted by a winged globe and a crescent, with ribbon ties flanking the diadem. His hair is rendered in voluminous curls framing the face, and a beaded necklace is visible at the bust truncation. Pahlavi inscriptions appear in the left and right fields, with an additional legend segment at the lower margin of the inner border. |
