| Reverse description | The reverse displays the characteristic double-stellate or double-square pattern of Dyrrachion drachms, consisting of a geometric grid of intersecting lines with pellets at the interstices, creating a multi-pointed star-like design within a shallow incuse square. The civic ethnic ΔΥΡ and the name of the second magistrate ΦΙΛΟΔΑΜΟΥ are distributed around the pattern in the field and border, following the standard eponymous magistrate formula of this mint. The design is deeply impressed and crisply executed, typical of the prolific silver coinage of Dyrrachion. |
