| Obverse description | Cow standing to right, suckling a calf beneath her; the magistrate's name ΞΕΝΩΝ inscribed above, flanked by the pilei of the Dioscuri with stars; an ear of grain appears to the left in the field, a torch to the right. The composition is rendered in the standard Dyrrachion civic style, with the bovine group as the central type. All elements are contained within an irregular flan typical of hand-struck provincial silver coinage. |
