Obverse description Diademed bust of Vologases VI facing left, wearing a distinctive tiara adorned with a beaded earflap and decorative crest; the monarch's long, carefully striated beard is rendered in the characteristic Parthian artistic style. The facial features are modeled with a pronounced hooked nose and almond-shaped eye typical of late Arsacid portraiture. A beaded torque is visible at the neck, and the tiara is secured with a diadem whose ribbons trail behind. The Aramaic inscription 'wl' appears to the right of the portrait within the beaded border that frames the entire obverse field.
