Obverse description Draped bust of King Valkash facing right, with a bearded effigy rendered in the characteristic Sasanian profile style. The royal crown features three teeth surmounted by a crescent and globe, from which ribbons extend; an additional ribbon issues above the right shoulder, while a fire emblem appears above the left shoulder. A single-strand necklace of large beads encircles the king's neck. The field is enclosed by a double-beaded rim, and a Pahlavi legend surrounds the royal portrait.
