| Obverse description | Laureate head of Apollo facing left, rendered in fine Ionian style with carefully detailed hair flowing in wavy locks behind the neck. The laurel wreath is depicted with individual leaves clearly articulated across the brow. The facial features are idealized and youthful, with a straight nose, slightly parted lips, and a serene expression characteristic of late Classical Greek coinage from Asia Minor. The flan fills the die well, with the portrait occupying the full field in high relief. |
