Reverse description Facing head of a bull turned slightly to the left, rendered in three-quarter view with prominent curved horns, large expressive eyes, and a finely detailed curly forelock. The muscular neck and dewlap are carefully modelled in relief, conveying naturalistic vitality characteristic of Hellenistic die work. Surrounding the bull's head, disposed in the field to the upper left, upper centre, and right, is the Greek legend ΠΑΝ in three separate letters, referencing the city of Panticapaeum. The composition fills the flan with no exergual line.
