Reverse description The reverse bears a densely arranged Brahmi legend filling the entire field, identifying the issuing monarch with his royal titles. The inscription is arranged in multiple lines across the flan and is surrounded by a border of pellets or dots following the irregular coin edge. The script, though worn, retains the characteristic angular and curved strokes of the Brahmi writing system as employed in late Gupta coinage. The overall design is epigraphic in nature, with no figural or symbolic elements distinguishable apart from the inscription.
